What it is not... This
is not a site to sell you anything, ask you to fill out forms, join
anything, or has any ‘commercial content’ whatsoever. This site is not
for profit, it is not a religion, religious or theology, it is not a
cult or belief system, nor is it a charity. We don’t want a donation or
any financial contribution. In this regard, the site is quite unique. This
information may seem contrary to the fact that I have published a
synopsis of our recent book on this site along with the cover, literary
correspondence, reviews and ancillary information. The book is not for sale on this site and serves only to illustrate why we built the site, in the first place. (Why we care or are interested in UFO’s or alien abduction for that matter.) This is not
an objective web site. That is, we are not going to present alternate
or opposing views of professionals or skeptics who may well claim that
we or you, were looking at the moon, Venus or some other planet in the
night sky. We are not attempting to disprove anything. Why it is…My
wife Peggy and I and our two passengers were abducted into an alien
craft on the night of November 16, 1996 for a period of time of at
least two hours, or more. Since that fateful night, there have been
subsequent abductions of both my wife and I. We have discovered,
through hypnotic regression, that I have been abducted over 13 times
during my lifetime, to-date. (It never seems to end.) These
startling facts have led to many unanswered questions in our minds.
Both Peggy and I and our therapists, had no real source for “answers”,
as we spent two and a half years looking for them. I have read over 200
books on the subject of UFO’s and alien abduction but no book, had the sort of answers or help that we sought or was found to have the complete picture or overview. What
it is... We
are not going to re-publish here the history of UFO sightings or the
history of alien abduction. There are many, many books you can read on
that subject found on many other sites. (If nothing else, http://www.amazon.com under the heading of: “UFO and alien abductions” has over four hundred books for sale on the subject.) We
will serve as a referral location to web sites that you can literally
use. For example, reporting any sighting or experience, would be best
served by filling out a form with either or both: National UFO
Reporting Center at the site: http://www.nuforc.org or the Mutual UFO Network at the site: http://www.mufon.com. These
are two excellent sources to give your information, in confidence,
without fear of your report being commercialized or sensationalized, in
any sense of the word. These folks will respect your privacy, just as
we will, here at this site. Any books we list as a referral
source for information are available at your local library or can be
ordered in, from your local library. (The “recommended reading” books
from 1947 and from the early 1950's, were from my local library request
department.) Any web site we list for referral information will
be marked as “commercial” if it is a commercial site. Commercial sites
can still be good places for information; the only issue is that you
are constantly bombarded with advertising. We have a section of
this site called: “Ask Your Questions”. You can feel free to ask any
question germane to the topics. We certainly don't have all the answers
but we may have access to experts who can answer the questions for you. We
also have a section called: “Tell Your Story” which we encourage you to
use if you feel an experience has happened in your past. It will be
informational for all who read it and perhaps cathartic, for you. In
both of these headings we do not want your real name, we will not
contact you, unless you wish, and we will not divulge your personal
information to any other person or site unless specifically requested
by you. This site is monitored daily and updated regularly by our
webmaster, DJ Rourke. We have two therapists who will monitor the
site and we will hopefully have professional referrals, in your
geographic area, if you wish to consult a professional for follow-up. I have personally been amazed at all the
“junk” web sites out there in cyberspace on these topics. If you
Google-up just the words: “Unidentified Flying Objects” you find
1,130,000 web sites! If you use the heading: “UFO and alien abduction”
you get another 656,000 sites. That means there are almost two million
sites on the topics right now! UFO and alien abduction are the second
most popular search topics, in all of cyberspace. Now we come to the last general topic that most folks wonder about. Am I Crazy? If
you are anything like us, once you suspect you may have had an
‘experience', the question you ask yourself, sooner or later is: “Was
this a real event or am I going crazy?” Unfortunately, you are probably
not crazy. I say unfortunately because I thought many times: “If I am
crazy, there is help out there for me! There are pills and medications
I can take to make this irrationality go away!” When you know
something happened and you know you weren't dreaming and you know there
is no earthly way to explain it, it was real. At least it is your
reality and our reality. At this writing, millions upon
millions of people have had UFO sightings. An average of close to 20%
of all UFO sightings are deemed, “unexplained”. This means that 20% of
all people who saw something unusual truly saw some form of:
“Unidentified Flying Object”. In this year of 2009 verifiable
reports of alien abductions are growing at a tremendous pace. This
either means that abductions are more frequent or that folks are more
likely now to ‘report' such an event, rather than keep it internalized
or, scariest of all – both! |
