REPORT ON THIRD IRISH INTERNATIONAL UFO
CONFERENCE

The following are my excerpts of the highlights of the Irish UFO
conference held recently. Many
thanks to Harry Sommerville of the
U.K.
for being allowed to “borrow” these notes.
It gives us an international perspective on the subject and as you will
see, there are commonalities all over the world.)
The Third Irish
international UFO Conference which took place in the Bush Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon,
Co.Leitrim over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of
September (2006), was voted the best yet. A
full roster of speakers was slated and seventy-plus guests were in attendance.
Our guest from farthest
away was from
Issaquah
,
Washington
(
USA
). Likewise our speaker from
farthest away was from
Brazil
!
The first speaker was Carl
Nally, co-founder of UFO and Paranormal Research
Ireland
. His presentation was on “Pilots
Reporting UFO’s in Irish Skies”. He
detailed many facts and figures. In
many instances pilots had seen objects in the sky, sometimes very close to them,
but when they reported to Air Traffic Control, they were told that ‘nothing
had shown up on radar’. Does
this sound familiar?
Phil Medley from
England
was the next speaker, and his presentation was entitled:
“Do E.T.’s Evolve?” His
area of interest is Stargates, which, he said, have been used by
Extraterrestrial races and have enabled them to cross the vastness of space,
arriving in our neighborhood within a very short time.
It certainly is an intriguing concept.
The final talk on Saturday
was given by Polish-born (now living in
Ireland
), Kyzysztof Zurek, entitled: “Return
of Cosmic Consciousness”. It was
largely a personal view of the global UFO situation, indicating that humanity is
set for something of an awakening. His
theme was that many signs are now increasingly being left for us by a superior
intelligence. These can be seen in
sightings of UFO’s, especially fleets of them, and the (genuine)
Crop Circle
formations. He reminded us of the
oft-mentioned late 2012 – courtesy of Mayan Prophecy – being the date when
it finally comes to a head.
The first speaker on Sunday
was Ann Andrews from
Kent
,
England
and her presentation was entitled: “Raising
a Multidimensional Star child in a Changing World”.
She talked about the problems her son Jason, has faced through almost his
entire 23 years, which were very thought provoking and at times troubling.
As a baby, Jason was often found under his cot, and as he became a little
older he would be terrified to go to bed at night because “they would come
and take me.”
He (and his parents) have
now come to terms with the truth – that he was being taken by
Extraterrestrials to be given specific knowledge.
Anne has a book on the subject, which is a great read.

Gary Heseltine from
England
was the next speaker and his presentation was entitled:
“The History of British Police Officer UFO sightings”.
After four years of research on the PRUFOS police database he has now
assembled 163 cases dating between 1901 and 2006 involving 403 British Police
Officers. He detailed many cases
that he has investigated where officers have seen bizarre aerial objects.
Next to speak was David
Cayton from
England
whose presentation was entitled: “Silent
Killers”. David has researched
animal mutilation cases in
England
and showed some rather disturbing pictures of animals with single, small holes
bored in their heads, part of jawbones removed, tongues cut out and the removal
of internal organs through very small holes.
All sorts of animals were involved – cattle, sheep, hedgehogs and even
a cat! The incisions were all very
neat and indeed surgical, and there were no traces of blood around, as one would
have expected. Similar cases have
been reported in the
United States
,
Canada
and
Australia
. (Ed. Note:
Linda Moulton Howe in the
U.S.
is the foremost expert on cattle mutilations, written in several of her books.
She also did a television special titled:
“Strange Harvest”, seen by millions of viewers in the
United States
.)
The final speaker was A.J.
Gevaerd the well-known researcher from
Brazil
and editor of
Brazil
’s four UFO magazines. His
presentation was entitled: “Astounding
New Evidence of Alien Activities in the Amazon.”
He focused on a boat trip he had taken along the Amazon, during which he
had stopped off at many villages to speak with the local people who referred to
the UFO’s and their crews, as being part and parcel of their local history and
folklore. Remember that these people
have no television and few radios, yet they tell of ‘Visitors from the sky’.
He talked about some sinister events from the late 1970’s when UFO’s
for some reason began attacking people in a remote coastal area of the Atlantic
northeast of
Brazil
, by firing laser-like beams of light at them.
Many received serious burns in these incidents.
Why? – nobody knows.
FILMS SHOWN
A new departure this year
was the showing of some films. On
Saturday we showed Ronan Gallagher’s “Loving the Alien” a documentary that
was shot during the last UFO conference. It
was very well received.
A DVD was shown of Jaime
Maussan and Santiago Yturria Garza at the 2006 MUFON Conference showing fleets
of UFO’s over
Mexico City
and extraordinary video clips of Flying Humanoids, as well as a stunning
sequence of an Entity attempting to grab a young lad playing in an alleyway.
When this alleyway was researched later the area above the ground where
the Entity was seen was shown to have extremely high levels or radiation.
It was truly amazing and quite riveting.
